The Mary Griggs Burke Center for Japanese Art Postdoctoral Fellowship in East Asian Art History
Description A Postdoctoral Research Scholarship / Lectureship will be offered by the Mary Griggs Burke Center for Japanese Art in the Department of Art History and Archaeology at Columbia University for a period of two years beginning July 1, 2022. Ph.D. or equivalent required. The degree must have been awarded between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2022. Specialization may be in any field of the history of Japanese, Chinese, or Korean art. In addition to conducting their own research, Fellows teach Art Humanities: Masterpieces of East Asian Art (approx. 20 students, twice a week). In the second year, Fellows have the option of teaching an undergraduate seminar in their own field of specialization in lieu of one semester of Art Humanities. The annual salary will be $6
