Centre College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Chinese beginning August 2022. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching in a student-centered environment. Special consideration will be given to candidates committed to using/developing inclusive pedagogies, mentoring student research, and supporting students beyond the classroom. Candidates must have a Ph.D. by the time of appointment and be qualified to teach all levels of Chinese language. Skills in developing programs preferred. Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin and English is required. Secondary expertise in Japanese language desired.
