The Asian Studies program of Hamilton College invites applications for a tenure track position in any discipline on Islam in Asia, including South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Iran/Persia, to begin July 1, 2025.  The candidate is expected to teach an introductory course (Everyday Islam) from a historical and cultural perspective on a regular basis. Mastery of a relevant Asian language is expected. The successful candidate will be appointed to the Asian Studies program.
