Assistant Professor of Asian Studies (Asian Islam)
The Asian Studies program of Hamilton College invites applications for a tenure track position in any discipline on Islam in Asia, including South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Iran/Persia, to begin July 1, 2025.  The candidate is expected to teach an introductory course (Everyday Islam) from a historical and cultural perspective on a regular basis. Mastery of a relevant Asian language is expected. The successful candidate will be appointed to the Asian Studies program. We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with broadly diverse student populations.
