Assistant Professor, East Asian Languages and Cultures
The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures (EALC) at Stanford University seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Trans-Asian studies, open to any period, with a primary focus on Korea. We welcome applicants with expertise in humanities fields including, but not limited to, literature, art, architecture, urban studies, performance studies, religious studies, visual culture, Asian diaspora studies, gender studies, digital humanities, or media studies. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a commitment to research, teaching, and advising. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment.
