The Department of Asian Languages and Civilizations cordially invites international applicants for the position of Professor of Indian Languages and Literature, and Indian Culture. The appointee will be responsible for education and research for the Indian/South Asian Major of the Department.  The position may be filled as assistant/associate professor (tenure track) or as full professor depending on the candidate’s merits and career stage. The appointment is planned to begin on 1 March, 2025. Salary will follow the official payroll system of Seoul National University, and will be commensurate with the appointee's prior career.
