Lecturer in Discipline
The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures invites applications for a Lecturer in Discipline in Chinese history, literature, or visual culture, to begin July 1, 2024. The Lecturer in Discipline will serve as the Department's MA Program Director (MAPD) in East Asian Studies. The Lecturer in Discipline will be expected to work closely with the Department Chair, Director of Graduate Studies, and Director of Academic Administration and Finance to support EALAC MA Program initiatives and student advising. The successful candidate will teach Introduction to East Asian Civilizations: China, Colloquium on Major Texts of East Asia, or a similar core course for the EALAC Department; plus an MA methodology or MA historiography course, and one course of their own choosing in consultatio
