Lecturer of Japanese & Korean
The Department of World Languages and Literatures at Auburn University invitesapplications for a non-tenure track position as Lecturer of Korean and Japanese to begin fall 2024. This is a full-time nine-month position with benefits and possibility of renewal and career advancement by mutual agreement annually, contingent upon availability of funds, enrollment, and satisfactory performance. Teaching load is 4/4 per academic year of mostly language courses with the possibility of one or more classes per year in area of specialization. The candidate should be willing to take part in extra-curricular activities to help promote participation in the Japanese and Korean language programs.
