Assistant Professor, Asian Studies
The Department of Asian Studies in the College of Arts, Languages, and Letters at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa invites applicants for a 9-month, tenure-track, full-time assistant professorship, to begin Fall 2024, pending availability of funds. We are looking for a collegial and talented colleague with demonstrated expertise in trans-Pacific environmental humanities or environmental justice studies and the ability to develop and teach innovative interdisciplinary graduate- and undergraduate-level courses at the intersection of Environmental Humanities, Environmental Justice, Asian-American Studies and Asian Studies. Applicants with a scholarly focus on trans-Pacific drivers of and responses to ecological crises
