Assistant Professor of Asian Studies
The International Studies and Languages Division of Pepperdine University's Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences invites applications for a tenure track faculty appointment in Asian Studies beginning August 1, 2024. The Asian Studies program at Pepperdine University seeks candidates holding a PhD in Chinese Studies, with any area of specialization in the Humanities, for a tenure-track appointment. The successful candidate will teach a range of courses in Chinese history and culture, including History of Modern China, Survey of East Asia, Modern Chinese Literature, and other courses related to the candidate’s specialization.
