Assistant Professor in Premodern Korean Studies
The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Premodern Korean Studies. The position is expected to begin August 2024. We welcome applications from candidates working in any periods or disciplines of premodern Korea. Relevant disciplines include, but are not limited to archeology, art history, history, literature and cultural studies, and religious studies. Priority will be given to candidates who combine a broad knowledge of archival resources with comparative and interregional methodologies that are applicable across linguistic, cultural, and political borders.
