The Fine Arts Department at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut invites applications for the new Kluger professorship in Art History. We seek a mid-career or senior scholar with an established record of teaching and scholarship in art and/or architectural history whose work focuses on global artistic and cultural exchange, contributing to the College’s ongoing efforts to diversify its curriculum. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in art or architectural history with a non-European focus in fields such as, but not limited to, transatlantic or transpacific artistic economies and exchange, the Global South, Latinx and/or Latin America, Global Islam, Africa and/or the African Diaspora, or globally-based Asian art. A successful applicant who is already tenured at another institution will b
