Japanese Language Lecturer
The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Washington University in St. Louis seeks to hire a fulltime Lecturer on the teaching track in Japanese language starting in August 2023 for the nine-month academic year. Initial appointments at the rank of lecturer are renewed on an annual basis, and reappointment is contingent upon a successful annual evaluation and review. This role requires duties equivalent to a full-time teaching load, which the university defines as at least 12 credit-hours of classroom teaching in each semester, and which may include a combination of teaching and other departmental service and advising as appropriate.
