Assistant Professor of the Practice of Korean
Boston College invites applications for a new full–time non-tenure-track position in Korean, in the Department of Eastern, Slavic, and German Studies to commence in July 2022. By the start date, applicants should have a completed Ph.D. in Korean Language, Literature, and Culture, evidence of original research and scholarship, and a successful teaching track-record. Duties involve teaching Korean language courses at all levels, courses on Korean literature and culture, coordinating a growing Korean language program, and maintaining an active research and scholarship agenda. The holder of this position will be expected to teach the equivalent of six courses each academic year.  Duties also include coordinating Korean and East Asian Languages instruction and co-curricular activities
