Assistant Professor of Korean Art History
The Department of Art History and PhD program in Visual Studies at the University of California, Irvine, invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Korean Art History. This specialization may be broadly conceived to include transnational/intercultural contexts and analyses, and is open in its range of periods and media. We are especially interested in candidates with a demonstrated engagement in one or more of the following areas: cultural studies, archaeological theory, postcolonial theory, ecocriticism, museum studies, science and technology studies, and/or the political and ethical implications of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and class. Applicants should demonstrate potential for excellence in scholarship and teaching and be able to teach a range of courses
