Worcester State University, Department of Earth, Environment and Physics, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate level beginning in Fall 2022. We seek a broadly trained human geographer who works on contemporary issues of the environment and sustainability. We especially welcome applicants with expertise in areas such as environmental justice, human dimensions of climate change, sustainable transitions, political-ecology, or critical physical geography. The successful candidate will develop and maintain an active, socially engaged research program that includes a component of undergraduate involvement. Teaching responsibilities include introductory human geography and intermediate and upper level courses in the candidate's area of expertise
